About Moviely
What is Moviely?
Moviely is a daily movie and TV guessing game where players try to identify a film or show using a curated set of hints. Each day features a new puzzle, and there's also a challenge mode for private games with friends.
How it works
Puzzles are built using metadata from The Movie Database (TMDB). Players submit guesses and receive structured hints; scoring depends on how many guesses it takes to find the correct answer. Hints are tuned to be helpful without spoiling the answer.
Data & privacy
Moviely stores minimal gameplay data (for example: guesses, scores and challenge state) to support leaderboards and challenges. Media metadata is fetched from TMDB, and some hint content is generated with AI-assisted tools. For full details about what we store and how we use data, please see the Privacy Policy.

Guess any movie in 10 tries or fewer. Every guess reveals clues across 7 categories.
Colors & arrows show how close you are. Fewer arrows (▲ vs ▲▲▲) mean you're very close!
Each guess unlocks progressive hints like taglines, blurred posters, trivia, and still frames.
